Ranokoa
Is there a point in time where you realize you would rather mod than play the game? I have been modding since 06, have only actually uploaded a fraction of my mods (mostly because their either personal, quick fixes to stupid problems i created, or did not want to upload) and i havent actually PLAYED the game for a couple months. I started to make a new game yesterday and realized how long it had been since i played rather than modded. Post your opinions and personal preferances, would you rather mod than play? If you have, when was the last time you played?
orctor
I do not mod so much cuz my imagination is like a pile of bricks. But i mod my game a lot download other mods etc.Actually that's almost everything i do with oblivion, mod it even further. Or now I've recently started a new game with FCOM and Curse of Hircine.
LoginToDownload
I mod as a hobby, so I'm the same as Ranoka. I start up a save every so often, but it never gets very far when I realise it's not what I need to playtest the next project.
exanimis
I played the game through several times before I even knew about mods. Once I started downloading mods, I stated reading the forum posts. I downloaded the construction set and haven't played the game since. I have a level one PC that has only finished the training sewers. I took her to Weye and that is where she stays unless she enters a door to one of the worlds I'm creating. I've always loved art and Oblivion was the first computer game I ever played. I guess the artist in my won the battle.

SpacemanSpIiff
The only actual modding to oblivion i do is making my own subtle adjustments to the mods i download. Other then that I play it for hours on end.
Argomirr
I've made tons of mods, but I've only released two I've made a long time ago so far. I spend hours in the CS doing scripting experiments, especially since I got OBSE. I guess I never released those because I never have time to make them releaseable, and a lot of them still have some flaws. But I really enjoy modding, perhaps even more than playing the game. But somehow I still manage to spend more time playing the game.
Unavi
i could use the words of Agromirr for my self (just replacing the scripting with modeling)i find myself playing the game only on vacation when i can play for several ours without beeing distrubed. If i have about 1 hour spare i usualy make another sword for me (i made tons of them but relased only 5 ). I like modding... BUT.. when playing there is one thing that makes it better...what could it be...hmm...oh yeah! i don't have to worry for the programs to crash or not working properly all the time. :D
