Fine tuning my current game

I've posted my load order as of right now, May 3rd. I don't have any real problems but in my efforts to merge some of my many mods I have installed I got the order a little messed up, and importing my last good order didn't really fix it. So if anyone can offer advice of how to tighten up/solidify my order that would be great. Also, I read the thread in general troubleshooting about merging mods in GECK but it's not really working for me. Is there an easier/more reliable way? Thank you very much for any help.

You open fo3edit and start using copy as new record into, direct everything to a new file so that your esps don't get overwritten.

If it asks you to add the mod you're trying to merge as master, then you're doing it in the "wrong" order.

I suggest starting with the easier ones.

Sometimes you get unlucky and enchants/scripts get unasigned, but that's nothing 5 mins in geck can fix.

 

Apart from that, fallout is really stingy when it comes to background programs running and antivirus and crap. The less you have of those, the smoother it'll run.
