Progress907
Can someone explain to me how this 'hotjar' isn't setting off alarms? I've always had a great experience here at the Nexus, but as I become more aware of large companies selling very personal data, my concern grows. Rodocastiza
Hotjar is a tool for generating user interaction maps. It means: which buttons, URL are more clicked for example. No personal data is collected. Edited September 29, 2022 by Narankiwi

No personal data is collected.This. There's no conspiracy. Hotjar allows us to passively gather anonymous data about the way the site is being used so we can design better UI/UX in future. It also tells us things like "How many users scroll past the Hot Files to view the latest news?". So we know if news becomes more important we might want to consider it's position on the page.
