Tower Defence Mode?

Edit3: Ok, l've though of a new way to explain my idea. I considered making a new post with this, but it felt wrong to make another post when i've already made this one, so i'll add it as a edit instead of a new post:

 

So, I know there are mods that already do something similar to this, but one adds a new settlement for this, and the other just makes a enemy spawner. What l want, is a Mod That lets us turn any settlement into a Tower Defence Game.

 

The mod would add two new items to the settlement builder, A Spawn point, and a Powered Target.

 

The spawn-point is where the enemies spawn. Though it doesn't require power to function, it still has a switch, to turn it on or off. The switch is either built into the device, or it's a normal switch that's connected to the device by wire.

(like in THIS MOD, but preferably via a terminal connected to the power grid, so the enemies can be changed whenever the player wants, without having to turn it off and on again.) (Not sure how well a holotape would work for this idea, so i didn't mention it untill now.)

 

The Powered Target, like the name suggests, is the thing the enemies are targeting. They win if they manage to destroy or depower it. They destroy it by getting close enough to touch it, or by dealing enough damage to it, via bullets, grenades, ect. They will also target any generators in your settlement, as the Target requires power. The spawners don't, though they can still be attached to the power grid if they're able to be affected by terminals.

 

Also, enemies would automatically respawn when the wave ends, but their inventories get sent to the workshop.

So, l little while ago, l had the desire to return to Fo4, but instead of going around the wasteland getting resources and returning to my base, l thought it would be interesting to have the enemies (And with them, resources) come to me. I know settlements can be attacked while you're away, but with this mod, you can make a raid happen while you're at the base. I Remember a FoNV mod that added a Cheaters house in Goodsprings that had a computer to summon a wave of enemies, so lt could be something like that (I Know there's a "Add Settler Button" mod, so it could do that, but with enemies), or it could be a MCM addition to change the settings for a Raid, so it can happen while you're in the settlement, and on a set interval, like every 5-10 minutes, and you can decide the difficulty, like if you want to go from one or 2 bandits to a supermutant suicider army, or if you want to start with a Pack of Deathclaws. (DLC enemies, like Robots, can also attack, as well as Synths)

 

I know a mod kinda like this already exists, but that sends you to a vestural reality space. I want the enemies to be "Real", and attacking the settlement i'm currently in (Sanctuary)

 

Edit: Ok, while l still like the idea above, until someone decides to make it, l have found some decent substitutes.

It looks like you've done some looking around, and have found some mods that you're gonna try out.

But I wanna throw this into the mix, for you to consider. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/37393 SKK Settlement Attack System.

It's a holotape that allows you use to turn it on or off, rather than a build settlement item.

Which means that you can use it at any settlement that you're at, rather than having to rebuild the control box at each or every settlement that you go to.

Has some pretty good controls added to the mix, as well.

And it's built off the base of his Combat Stalkers mod, which sends groups of spontaneous spawn against the player. This one sets it against the settlement. His Combat Stalkers mod is really good, so I think that this one might be a great choice too.

 

It's worth giving it a look-see at least ;)

You could always try https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5051 If you like The Castle, Having where they are coming from over Radio Freedom is nice, especially when Synths teleport inside the walls. You can rerun that mission as much as you'd like. I use it when a Companion needs a certain amount kills for Affinity, I'm looking at you Heather and Jenny.
