mbruno
Ok, I just installed Fallout 3 and for some reason when I try to start a new game or load a save, I get the "The Program Has Stopped Working" message.I've attached my dxdiag as a text file. I mean, I know why it won't work, it's because of the Intel chipset, but what I don't understand is why Oblivon will run just fine on my comp, but this game won't.

nazguljcg
do you have the current drivers installed for ur graphics card? im no computer whiz, and most of the stuff in the window was way beyond me, but i have often found that when a game wont run and its the type of error u describe, its something simple like a driver update. Skotte
One possibility is that you may need to update your directX (Fallout3 does require a later version than Oblivion)
Evarin
Ok, I just installed Fallout 3 and for some reason when I try to start a new game or load a save, I get the "The Program Has Stopped Working" message. Here's mt dxdiag: I know this likely wont help you, but just throwing this out there. If you have started running mods and you don't have a mod downloaded for a mod patch you are trying to run, it will generate that error message.
