Schatten82
Heya, well, currently I just have a borrowed Fallout 3 Version from my brother (German, Uncut Patch applied). So, the new Add On Broken Steel seems quite interesting for me (especially the level cap, as lvl 20 just seems silly and somehow killed some of the fun for me). Anyways, as far as I know I have to get a Windows Live Account, and this will be most probably the moment when I have to enter the key from the box. Well, actually I don't know if my brother already used the key, if I can just buy the add on on his account or whatever - have to figure that out. But to go the "clean" way and to just spend 30 Bucks to get my own version of fallout 3 there is one other question bothering me:I like the version I am playing. And where I am currently living I can only buy the french version. So, would it be possible to play with the german version but to use the french key to get the windows live thing and to download the german add ons? Or is the key bound to a language version? Another quick Question:Is it possible to just download Update 2 and 3, but to skip 1? This simulation thingy seems kinda uninteresting to me. Skotte
the DLC is region-locked so most likely you would only have access to the french DLC no matter the key used but there is some good news though, Soon the DLC will be available on disc & then you should be able to get DLC that matches the game I would highly recommend getting your own fresh copy of the game maybe you know of an online store that has the same version you like. No, you don't have to get Anchorage, these are just mods that cost points
