FuzeTek
Ive got this Texture thats a Diffuse map, Bump Map and a specular map. Ive tried to add these into FO3 and while I did and created a normal map, the texture looks washed out. are these texture types able to be used in FO3 or do I need different versions. the textures are 6000x6000
Deleted1084753User
Generally the maximum size you should be using is 4096x4096. Also, you're not using a power of 2 for your texture size which is likely to cause problems. I have to assume you're not using DXT compression either since the plugin wouldn't even allow you to save the file at that resolution. Downsize it to 4096x4096, save it as DXT1 using the nvidia plugins for photoshop, then downsize your normal map to about half that (2048x2048) or even 1024x1024, and save that (with its alpha channel for specular level) as DXT5. FuzeTek
I meant the base textures are 6000x6000, I scaled the specular map to 1024x1024 and used it to make a normal map with the tutorial on the nexus. I'm saying that it imported ok but the resolution looks blurry. Im not sure if I'm supposed to do something with the included bumps map image to make the testure look 3Dish.
