Happywhaleshark
The performance on Oblivion has always been pretty good, but after getting Mac OSX Mountain Lion I reinstalled Parallels (For virtual machines) and downloaded Oblivion onto a Windows 7 Virtual Machine. The game runs fine, unless you look at any character with an armature (Npc's, enemies). The result is:http://imgur.com/Z74ZNl4http://imgur.com/aD93VRqhttp://imgur.com/vM8COFGDoes anyone know what is going on? Is it an animation error? Maybe a problem with normals? LFact
If it is not some model error or skeleton error, or not associated with game engine bug or graphic card driver issue, it can be symptom of something worse: your graphic card is dying. SirNibbles
but after getting Mac OSX Mountain Lion I reinstalled Parallels (For virtual machines) and downloaded Oblivion onto a Windows 7 Virtual Machine. This is basically the problem, Virtual machine's aren't made for gaming and u can't expect the same performance as u would have on the actual machine. U probably should know by now but MAC's aren't generally made for gaming. There is a way to install windows 7 on MAC's though if u can afford to change from OS for the benefit of playing 1 game (it's a MAC though...no offense but MAC's are next to useless. the only thing they're good for is browsing websites)
