Missing objects, Fallout 3 patch 1.5

Hi All,

First off, I'm not sure if I should be posting this here or on Bethsoft's forums.

Right, since I updated to the 1.5 patch, I've been finding some of the wasteland objects (and creatures) have been disappearing.

One notable location was just outside project purity where there is a iron-fort full of super mutants (on the right travelling from rivet city).

I could see all the shadows of where stuff should be, but there was nothing there, only the terrain.

When playing earlier I was plundering the death claw sanctuary, I emerged to find a small Enclave base with several death claw cages, only one of them was missing everything bar the doors.

In both cases I had been playing the game for an hour or more, and I didn't have broken steel for the first one.

Now, I know there is a problem with .esp files and this, but I'm only playing vanilla fallout with the DLC (which are all .esm files).

(I do not have any extra content loaded other than the DLC (i.e. no mods), so no .esp files, yet I get similar symptoms of things just disappearing on me,

I'm not sure if those objects / creatures are static or not though).

Any help you could give would be nice,

~ Lakie

Fallout + Patch 1.5 and no Mods should work without problems.

What is missing? Do you see big read diamonds with an <!> inside?

Is it content of the DLC that is missing?

Might be a corrupted download file

I didn't see any missing mesh diamonds, like I described it was effectively just the terrain (complete with shadows) and nothing on top of it.

I do not think that the area just outside of project purity was affected by the first two DLCs?

As for the DLC's themselves I've not noticed any missing meshes, so I assume they are mostly intact.
