Ivy keeps repeating "I want to talk about Nuka World"

Hi all, I am having an issue with Ivy constantly stating she wants to talk to me about Nuka world but that's it, not follow up menu or dialogue and if engage in talk it's the usual garb. I suspect she is trying to start a quest, but his is repeated every 1-15 seconds and is now getting old.

 

Any ideas how to get this to kick into touch?

Ok, so here I go sounding silly.

But.

WHO is Ivy? I'm guessing that this is a companion added by a mod? Which one?

 

But yeah. She's stuck in a loop.

First guess is that something about the Nuka World quest is off. Do you have any mods that affect NW?

Or maybe she's glitched. Have you tried sending her off to a settlement, and then coming back to her later? Will she leave, if you dismiss her? If No, that's really bad news.

There's a nasty bug, where if you try to dismiss a companion, they get halfway through the process and then the script for making them leave, FAILS.

So they get confused, and then won't do anything but follow you around, and talk non-stop, and fight if they are attacked. IF that's what you've got, there is no fix other than starting up a new game. :(

Hi thanks for the welcome and tips, I will try those, but it won't be tonight now as I have early start in the morning. To answer your question "Ivy" is a sexual/sensuous female mod companion (Ivy 6.0) is the one I have and the other mods have never given me any problems, I have a high speced pc I12900k 3090 graphics 64 GB ddr5 ram on 2TB mvme so the pc handles it very well

 

I did go to Nuka World but it won't kick it off until I get the responses to her dialogue, so I will try your suggestions and hopefully let you know they worked, thanks for your time. Zaph.
