Broken Steel : how do you cycle the airlocks?

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to cycle the airlocks, I told fawkes to go in, and he/she agreed and told me to cycle the airlocks, I have no clue how? I tried the button where Doctor Li stood while the father died earlier on, it did nothing and I tried the box where you enter the FEV, I already gave the FEV to Eyldor Lyon's!..

 

I even tried to turn on the purifier and woke up in a coma, heard Elydor lyon's voice and BSO walking around my bed, but I was locked in the bed starring at the ceiling and nothing happened, I waited about five minutes and I was still locked in place in the bed, I could make the gaspin for air sound only!..

 

I'm playing the easiest level, and can't figure out what to do, If I send in Sarah, I know she to well say cycle the airlocks, but I don't know how!..

 

I'm going to checkout youtube to see if there's a video that shows how, well I wait for a answer here, I'l update this post if I figure it out, it one took me a couple of hours to figure out how to finish another game, can't remember what game sorry!..

This is the view I get when I wake up after starting the purifier, I think I'm under the bed,my Xbox 360 controller for windows is locked, I hear the medic robot and the door constantly opening up!..

Update 2

 

After applying the latest patch, I sent in Sarah and figured out how to operate the airlocks, woke up above the bed this time and to Eldor Lyon's, but I'm not satisfied with the coward's ending sending in Sarah, so I went back to my save game after meeting up with Fawkes outside of Raven Rock. I'll either send him in or enter myself, I'm curious as to how it ends sending in Fawkes, so most likely I'll try that first!..

if you use the "i got balls" version and sacrifice yourself instead of lyons.. for some reason alot of gamers end up spawning under the bed..stuck and doomed.

 

If you ever are stuck again use this/ Open up your console with the tilde key. It's under the escape button. then enter this command

 

 

enableplayercontrol

 

then hit enter. you will be able to get out from under that bed. if for some reason the bed is clipping you then enter the toggle clipping command which is

After that kick lyons in the balls for putting a bed on top of the damn spwn point and tellem roe said hi.

When I sent in Fawkes, he only went through the first airlock, and stood infront of the control box where you'd enter the FEV if you had it, and then the Purifier overloaded like when his dad overloaded it!..

 

Funny thing if you go in , both you in Sarah end up in a coma at the citadel, and if you have a nude mod installed Sarah is nude and Unconscious in the other corner, which is a bit uncomfortable with the Dad in the same room!..

just tell lyons like it is! "old man!..your daughter has some serious sexual tension problems!.. i tried to help her in the purity room.. but nothing helped no matter how hard i tried...so don't get angry at me when i'm in the coma and she is the one naked.. i couldn't help it.. i was in a damn coma!.. well.. i was asleep... for the most part."

 

btw did you try out the good ending with the console commands?

I re-installed my game new today and rolled back to the previous patch because patch 1.5 was causing to many crash's with entering and exiting building's and compounds etc!..

 

I've been playering a few hours and I'm about to head to Vault 112, I wrote down those commands you gave thank you!..

 

Only thing I'm worried about is the subway tunnel going to Andrew's Airforce base, last time through I couldn't win the speach challenge with that computer [female voice, looked like a radar screen] and came across the subway car but needed fuses to activate it and looked every where with no luck!..

 

Those Overlord Mutties walk like over abused steroid ice skaters or skiers I find, the person who does the animation for bethesda gotta stop watching so much sports channel, it's cloudying there imagination!.. o_O

But The enableplayercontrol and TCL didn't work, I'm stuck under the bed, I'm afraid I might have to go back to the dreaded 1.5 patch!.. >:(

ok the Cheat is spelled enableplayercontrols with a S at the end, but it didn't work, and the TCL didn't work either!..

 

Look's like I have to install the damn latest patch, grrrrr :mad: I hate Bethesda

yea u need 1.5 i had to go back to it as well .......... but if you use the fake patch as well everthing works no crashes yet and V.A.T.S. WORKS but the water still gives you rads........ i`m not using the pugin to fix that........

I un-instaled my game and installed the third patch, and fake patch, I haven't started broken steel yet since down grading and installing the fake patch!.. Owe I have the fake patch loaded after Fallout3.esm and before all the DLC;s, hope that's the right order!..

 

It's my under standing that the exe can be saved and backed up if you do decide to re-install, so if I do have to go back to patch 1.5 to use with fake patch, I'll back up my patched 3rd patched exe just incase!..

 

I removed all custom player houses except for Dtoms Rivet City Apartment which I have no problem's with and I removed all custom races and even nude mods and a few clothes mods I stopped using taken up space, and a weapon mod as well the grenade launcher I hardle used it or used it once or twice!..

 

The only weapon mods I have now are JaySuS Mixed Toys For Adults Vol1, JaySuS Kage Bushi for COMM and Alexscorpions Sniper Gear owe and the mods that unlock OA weapons and gear, I removed the WWll outfits and Wanderer Gear and Mufflers mod, and some mods that had short cut travel's to your megaton house, and Museum of history quick exit and a mod that placed crates outside your megaton house that let you choose what you needed, ammo, outfits, armor etc where in the crates!, I removed the personal computer mod too!...
