desanders Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 How would I convert a player character I have in game to a follower mod?I've never tried modding in Skyrim, so would appreciate any information or help .

The first step though for doing it for a player char would be to open race menu in game with a save file that has desired player char as your char and to export head data, everything else would be covered in tutorial video.Thihk you have to export what is called an SPF file too while you in racemenu with desired char? cant remember but tutorial video would know. If you use MO you might have to be a little dodgy, I know with MO1 at least on my end I had to temporarily use my data folder by adding a meshes and textures folder with proper sub folders to house my creations main nif and dds files for char head while i did certain ck work And there is an old mod that might not be viable but you can check it out, it was called Familiar Faces and that mod lets you cheat process.
