Idle Duplicator Machine

So sorry in advanced if a mod for this exists, I couldn't find it.

Essentially, What if there were a mod that adds in a Manufacturing Machine that Duplicates the Object that comes into it.

So incomes say a 10mm Pistol and it pops out two 10mm pistols, or more depending on a terminal setting or something.

Reason being that I would like to dupe rarer items such as the Deliver, Spray N Pray, or even the Broadsider, to just hand out to settlers or to carry three different variants of weapons such as Spray N Pray.

I know you can just spawn them in with cheats or some other methods, but I think a duplicator is nicer than scrolling through several terminal pages or typing in specific ids. Besides it wouldn't be limited to weaponry, you could also copy armors, junk, meds, etc.

It won't duplicate omod and legendary effect but usually gives you the slot.

OOooOOooOO!! That's INTERESTING!

There's plenty of mods that allow you choices of adding legendary effects to gear. As long as they have a legendary slot keyword attach point. Which quite a few of those mods do go ahead and do so, for the vanilla weapons.

DO believe that awkrc or awkcr or whatever it is, also does this, and does so for any mod weapons that are patched to it.

Now, the ONE mod that I have tried out, that does this without any need for patching, is ECO. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/55503

However.

All the extras that you can get from ECO will NOT be able to used on weapons/gear that you had BEFORE installing the mod. Only the ones that you gain AFTER installing it. So that means a new save game, with it already installed, for Everything.

You also have to go into it's menu, and turn ON those effects, PER weapon, BEFORE you can actually USE them. (It's an amazing feature that is most DEFINITELY worth the tedium. But if you are modding a lot of gear, yeah... it's tedious)

To be honest, it would actually just be a lot easier to create a batch file for the items that you want.

Either a batch to add the items to the player to distribute.

Or

a batch file that once the console is opened, the player clicks on the NPC they want to have the items, and then executes the items directly to their inventory.

Either of those options isn't very hard.

Please post me a list of the gear

How many of each item you want the script to spawn (if you want one to use directly on the npc, be better to just spawn 1)

And a few days to look up the item ID numbers and put it all together.

Then I will post the code for you, and instructions on how to put the code into your computer, and then how to activate it thru the creators console.

The other thing to mention tho.

Unless they are Named settlers, or are marked as part of a quest: The settlement respawns settlers every time that it refreshes. So the gear that you put onto them, won't stay on them, when the settlement creates new ones.
