EnderShadowborne
So here's the rundown; I'm using two player replacement mods, I know, ill advised, but hear me out! Naturally, the two conflict, and one of them wins (obviously), which are the Lupine Race (Player version) mod, and the Project Amelia race mod. The goal; Male player (Ender; me) is the wolf, while my lover (Named "Nora", wish I could rename her) is an Amelia unit. The issue; Because I don't have a mod that allows one of the two possible players be their own sort of species and all that, both will of course be a wolf, now if this is unavoidable by ANY stretch of the imagination, then that's fine by me, I can deal with it. The question; Is there a mod out there that can perhaps permit my goal to be achievable?
Blinxys
What you are asking for doesn't sound difficult- if I understand it correctly. I haven't used alternative playable races, someone that has would be far more qualified to answer. However, several issues are unclear in your request and it would help if you lay out your requirements most clearly. IF You are asking to have two different player character races, then set up unique "profiles" in MO2 or NMM with each as the appropriate player race. The latter (NMM) handles multi-profiles not so well as the former (MO2) by my understanding. IF You are asking for each to be in the same play-through, you can get a custom companion at whatever point in the game you want them to appear, (i.e. several are just out of vault or in the bomb shelter in Sanctuary).THEN modify race/dialogue to your liking using FO4edit. ELSE If it is the player spouse you after, some mods attempt to handle getting them in-game on a human level, Nora Spouse Companion , AFT also allows reviving spouse with this patch, (Requires full AFT install, see in the requirements). Will get them in game, but still require modifying race data, appearance, and whatever other tweaking using FO4edit. Hope that helps, and someone else follows this up with more info than I have provided. Happy Hunting!

But it IS indeed the spouse I'm after, but not exactly inquiring about the Spouse Companion, but it does seem that FO4Edit might be my friend, providing that I can make the Amelia mod the conflict winner for the spouse, and the conflict loser for me, it's pretty deep in some advanced tomf*#@ery, but I imagine it WOULD be possible, it's just a matter of HOW... EnderShadowborne
Not exactly on-topic, but oh well, still looking for mods, anyone remember ShroudLegacy's Winter Overhaul V1 mod for the XBOX ONE? Well I'm looking for something similar (as closely similar as possible) to it for PC, since I have the Vivid Weathers Winter plugin, any suggestions? Tried looking on Bethesda.net, but got nothing, not sure what'd work from NexusMods or what have you...
Blinxys
Sorry, back on topic...(Doubled-backed cause I remembered I saw this) Here:LooksMenu Tint APIIn the post by @zed140 If you know how to mod npc/race, it become more simple to use just the looksmenu api.You start as human - Select the preset - select the tint face - select the skin. Done.At this point your esp do not need to contain a race or npc tables. Just contain the head parts you reference in the npc preset. Finally you distribute an esp with just the head parts (.nif files), the head and skin textures (how many you want), the looksmenu files for the preset, for the face tints and for the skins. From here, you do not have to fight with race problem anymore. :ninja: Pros and Cons are further detailed in the original post. :nuke: I know nothing of alternative player races ATM, but all radiations come through exposure, I suppose. :geek: The character creation self(s) and spouse ids are really scuttled-up in the intro and dream sequences. :wacko:Most changes apply more permanently after leaving the vault, but then the spouse is gone already. :ermm:

But it looks pretty elaborate, and using MO2, FO4Edit can't see the mods, since they're applied virtually, and when I try to launch FO4 through Steam, it sees absolutely NO mods... Found out how to fix that issue, but I'm still not entirely sure how to proceed, even in FO4Edit, it looks really complicated, and I haven't got the SLIGHTEST idea what I'm doing, so I'm pretty stuck... Of course, I figured I could always just edit the mods to do what I want them to do, but I've hit a roadblock, I don't know what to do and all that... EnderShadowborne
Nevermind... This is too complicated, and because I'm autistic, I'm too stupid to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing... My dreams will NEVER be accomplished or reached... So giving up is the easier solution...
StormWolf01
Ok here's my thoughts on this, but I only know the basics of how to actually make it Work.A set of Overrides. One for the male player character preset, and another for the female character preset. In those presets are a definition for Race, and what body parts the presets uses. If both of those mods have options for starting out as that race, as soon as the game starts, they will have those preset files in them already. But probly as a singular file. so you will want these after the race mods, in your LO.So if you are wanting the spouse.... say the female, (you can change their name via console commands, I THINK???) you activate the override for the female preset, and leave the male preset inactive in your LO and then start up a new character. Now, this is where I dunno how to do it. I don't know how to separate the assets used for the race, from the player. I know that they have to be moved to folders which are not designated for the player character. And have to be renamed to the files used by NPCs. I do not know if those assets have to be RElisted in the same .esp file as the preset for the main character. Tho if they were to be given custom names, then yes, they'd have to be listed in the .esp file.Looking into mods like unique player, or unique NPCs would offer some tips tho.
