Minitek
Hello, I always found immersive breaking and also spoiling the fun that health bar shown when near ennemies, also how do you know if you aren't scanning them their health ? I think no health bar unless you scan them in vats would make it more logic and immersive. Would make you more on your nerves also, because unless you spam vats button you might get suprised and ambushed, no more spidey sense sole survivor. I tried to modify the fallout.ini, to no avail. It's either making it disappear completely or having it both in and out of vats... Best regards to anyone reading this. Edited October 25, 2022 by Minitek
Blinxys
You may want this: HideUIhttps://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10898 This was made back in the early days before F4SE added UI controls. If you want rich UI control download iHUD or one of the other rich HUD mods out there. This is just a simple hotkey to turn the whole hud on/off, and was un-hidden by request from several people HideUI adds two aid items to your inventory automatically after installing: HideUI - Controller, and HideUI - Configuration. HideUI Controller can simply be clicked from your inventory to toggle, but is made to be assigned to a favorites hotkey for use in real-time. But it doesn't stop there! HideUI has two modes, and two HUD styles, which can be configured in game by activating the HideUI Configuration aid: HUD MODESMANUAL: Use a favorites hotkey to turn the HUD on and off whenever you want.AUTOMATIC: Automatically hides the HUD when you're not in combat, instantly turns it on when you are. HUD STYLESBASIC (default): Hides health, compass, action points, enemy name/health, sneak meter. Retains messages, crosshair, quick loot.HARDCORE: Hides EVERYTHING. Great for exploring. While hidden, quick-loot reverts back to requiring E to open containers. MISC CONFIGReset, and Uninstall options make removal mid-game completely safe and painless (see FAQ)
RoNin1971
Sounds useful.Except the 'Hardcore' setting seems obsolete, as it sounds exactly like the same effect you get from simply going to settings and set the HUD opacity to 0.At least, judging by the given info. I've played like that a lot while testing my mods, mostly so to have HUD-free screenshots along the way.
Blinxys
Harcore may very well be 0 opacity as you say. :tongue:Photo Mode Is most useful for what you are describing re: screenshots.Note: Does not work well with AAF (for those that wish to know). :whistling:
StormWolf01
I can see where you're coming from in wanting this."Oh look! There's a healthbar hiding in that clump of tall grass!" But yeah, essentially what you want is a new HUD. There's several available. I haven't messed with them, so I Can't recommend one, over the other.But. I can say.HUD Modification is actually one of the first things that really got popular when the game came out. There's at least 2 that came out before the CK. Been watching a series on youtube lately, published back in 2015 (Shortly after game release) Where the tuber is using a HUD mod w/no healthbars. I was thinking of something automatic, like opacity of healthbars at 0 outside VATS and at 100 in, since it seems the HUD tuning mods is moslty working with opacity. But I'll give it a try in my next playthrought with a new clean save Immersive HUD is sometimes a bit buggy. Thanks  Edited November 1, 2022 by Minitek
