Question about merchants in Fallout 1 & 2

Do the merchants in Fallout 1 and 2 carry limited amount of money like in Fallout 3?

I ask because something doesn't feel right in the game, it's a bit Oblivion-y.. Don't get me wrong, I own both games and they are AMAZING! But it just seems like unnecessary back and forth waiting for merchants to resupply so you can sell your goods. Yes, it is more realistic this way, but it seems to take away some of the fun. What do you guys think?

Maybe I'll make a mod to remove the cash limit of merchants..

The trade style economy made much more sense than the caps system, given the state of the world. And in the originals, you could store stuff in bags so the weightlessness of caps didn't really matter either.

F2 - San Francisco & NCR merchants have the biggest amount of cash. In NCR be sure you check all the shelves on shop outside, each have different inventory. Reeding casino also have some cash.

You need to wait (sleep with PipBoy) a week for more cash / new items.

Best item to sell enclave Pulse Pistol (12,5k) and endgame you will have from those more than you can carry.

You need cash for ammo and stimpacks, and there you can pay with other items.

For surgery enhacements you sure can scrap 20k in less than 2 game weeks.

An easy method for cash: raise gambling to at least 100 and play in New Reno.

There is a mod that resets the merchant each time you leave the location, check NMA for it.
