Mods Active?

I recently started modding my FNV for a better experiance and I have the core knowledge I need, there is one question that I have and that is, after I have installed all the mods I want and setup my load order, is there any way, other than seeing the content that was added by a mod, to know if a specific mod(s) is functioning properly? Maybe a tool in NMM? I'm sure we can all agree that when Nexus says the mod was activatred sucessfully after auto insall, it just isent enough.

NMM doesn't measure what is and is not 'working'. That is not possible. To do so it would have to load and run fallout New Vegas in debug mode with a debugging cable running to a 2nd PC and a host of memory diagnostic programs as well as every other mod in your load order since mods conflict, change things both for you and each other.

mod1: Bob, you are to move to locationNEW

mod2: Bob you are to be called Brian.. might error as Bob has moved (but will probably work)

mod2: Bob you are to be called Brian

mod1: Bob, you are to move to locationNEW (may fail as Bob is now called Brian and unless the internal reference was used and remains unchanged it may crash or just not do anything)
and so on.
99.9999% of the time if a MOD was activated and you installed all the required stuff correctly it will work correctly. You break stuff with other mods or occasionally with a poorly written mod.

I'm sure we can all agree that when Nexus says the mod was activatred sucessfully after auto insall, it just isent enough.

So, no NMM saying it activated the MOD is more then any enough. Any other trouble shooting is up to you.
