Thoughts on David Gaider being the writer for FIFA 14

While on an airplane to California for Army training, I came across this article in a magazine I found. Unfortunately the magazine itself was over a year old, and I couldn't find the article online.

 

 

David Gaider, who has been employed as the head writer for Bioware since 1999, is being transferred to the sports division of Electronic Arts. He will be the head writer for EA's upcoming title FIFA 14, which, according to EA CEO Andrew Wilson, will have the most extensive storyline out of any sports game ever released to console. The storyline will revolve around a budding young soccer player named Cortez, who is a refugee from South America that comes to the U.S, along with his family. in search of a better life. Other characters featured in the game will be "Player X", Julio's older brother who ran away from home for unkown reasons; Jorge, Cortez's father who is also a former champion luchador(Mexican Wrestler) of world renown, and a cobbler; Ambassador Perez, a corrupt politician stationed at the South American Embassy; Negro Muerte, Cortez's childhood friend turned rival; Gato Guapo, Cortez's team mate and goalie, who plays Soccer in order to raise money for his sister's chemotherapy treatments, and many more, all with thier own stake in the story. FIFA 14 will also feature appearances by many real-life athletes, such as David Beckham, O.J. Simpson, Michael Vick, and John Madden. In order to succeed at FIFA 14, the player must not only execute complex plays and strategies, but make tough moral decisions, such as whether or not to dope, endorse sporting good companies, or help politicians win elections.

"I am very much out of my comfort zone writing for a sports game, but I am glad that EA sees me as the right man for a difficult job. No one has done this before", remarks Gaider. "Everyone likes a good story, sports is all about drama and politics. We should have done this a long time ago", adds Wilson. Critics are very much on the fence as to whether or not this is a good idea. Regardless of the outcome, FIFA 14 will be remembered for a long time as arguably one of the most unique sporting games ever released.

 

I have mixed feelings about this myself. They shouldn't have forced Gaider the way they did, but I myself prefer RPGs to sports games simply for the story. Anyone else have any thoughts?

I found an article from the mysterious website called "Who Cares!" and there was one particular article called "Jiggalopuff needs to find better things to do than to troll the people of Nexus on DA's Lead Writer when most only care about nuddie and "enhanced" body mods". I find it personally really appropiate to this piece because it highlights why I'm the only person who is replying to your poor trolling attempts. 0/10 At least be more riveting and give fake links instead of giving a mysterious "magazine" is it? Why don't you do it at the BSN? I mean people care about this more over there than here. Look, since this isn't your first and you clearly in the need of help to make your lame trolling attempts better, I thought about giving you hints on how to troll people:

 

1. Don't use someone who just recently tweeted that he has finish writing the second companion in his roster and has to start on writing a major NPC for a game that is due out next year.

 

2. Use real names for that magazine. Links is always work best

 

3. If you are using links, link them to trolling or things that piss people off. For example, a classic approch is using Rickroll. If you are like me, you use music videos that no one likes, like this one:

4. Don't use EA Sports as a company when everyone knows that all their games is copy and paste of the last game, much like CoD.

 

5. Quotes isn't going to make you more creditible, you need more than that to make it successful. Adding pics and person who wrote it works better.

 

6. Makes your trolling attempts more sense, as state before no one here cares about EA Sports or David Gaider

 

7. Make the title more urgent. "Thoughts on David Gaider being the writer for FIFA 14" isn't going draw people in as people know that FIFA 14 is FIFA 13 but with a lick of paint. Something like "DA LEAD WRITER IS FIRED!!!!" now that's more conserning

 

8. Understand your audience, many people don't like EA but if you make it sound like EA made this, then more fan rage comes

 

9. Don't use army training excuse, everyone has done that at some stage. You need it to be serious like, say that it was in The Examiner. In fact, email and tell The Examiner this info as they take anything as information

 

10. The trolling only works if everyone is duped by it and if I'm not duped by it, then who will be? Unless you are apparently the biggest moron on the face of this planet.

 

 

Now that I have given you these tips, it's time to see them in action but first you need to give a 5,000 worded essay into this thread (and I will count every word) on why your trolling attempts weren't successful and how you can make it better. In this essay, I would like to have references into various pass works from famous trolls and an insite into the human psyche, with at least some info on why people become duped. This consitutes on 30% of your final grade and will be tested on the final exam, which I'm giving you, worth 50%. You will also have to do a project with another team member and that's worth 20% of you final marks. If you fail this trolling course then I would have to inform the trolling police to kick you out of trolling school because you need to do better than that to be successful. This essay is due a weeks time, you better get started Jiggalopuff.

I know but it's a dreadful trolling attempt. I only want my trollers to learn how to be successful troll because trolling is an art form and this was bad. Good trollers make angry reaction out of people and thinks that more people can understand.

Let the master speak, i hate Ea just as much as the other guy, but i can't really complain since i bought battlefield 4 for ps4. Well anything pc related you can have it :teehee: :teehee: :teehee:
