GREETING topic problems

So I've been trying to make some custom companions but whenever I add the GREETING topic and then add the condition , "MYNPC == 1.0 " then save it in the Geck it adds the Topic GREETING to a bunch of random NPCs so that when I talk to them in game, the first dialogue option is GREETING and this also makes it so some NPCS' can't exit dialogue. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

 

anyone have any ideas?

I've got the same problem. My quest mod was completed and I had gone back to add a cave and went back in game and just happened to talk to someone in Megaton and sure enough GREETING was at the top of the list. I've got all my NPC's set = to 1 as well. With my luck it's going to be something I left checked or unchecked. Anyone else had this problem and figured out the answer?

Do you mean every NPC has the text "GREETING" in their dialogue box. You probably checked 'top level' on the greeting topic. Uncheck it and it should go away.

 

 

No, no evey NPC was saying me line of text. But I just forgot to add the isNPC condition. Thx anyway!
