mindw0rk2 Posted November 19, 2013 Share Posted November 19, 2013 (edited) Trying to get my heavily modded Skyrim stable, I started lowering mod numbers one by one and test it. This what I found out. At about 180 mods number game is very stable. Then if I try to add more mods, CTDs suddenly happen. The thing is - mods I add are absolutely random, including those that dont have scripts. Since game crashes if I throw in just 2-3, like there is a limit what it allows me to install. I dont understand it. Can somebody explain? I tried different inis, optimized textures, cleared everything including main esms with TES5Edit, using ENBoost and stuff. Maniax2 Posted November 19, 2013 Share Posted November 19, 2013 Strange you are not really near the max amount of plugins installed (around 255 max) you sure your BOSS logs just counting 180 in total plugins? maybe try to merge some and see if you can install more than 2 or 3...
