Any news on what's going on with Vortex randomly uninstalling mods problem?

So before i get started on the issue, the last date i saw on this issue when i hit up google was 2019. and the time I'm posting this it's drawing to the end of 2 months of 2022. So yeah i feel need to ask the community (and hoping someone on the Nexus crew picks it up as well would be helpful if you can let us users know what's going on please)

So the problem as the topic titel says, it's Vortex randomly uninstalling mods. using well known modded games and commonly known issues as examples here (but it's not limited to them by any means)

So you can be playing skyrim modded to heck one day, but lets say the next day you get something like cyber punk on steam, you install it, realise the game is unpliable without the community fix mods, So you get vortex to do it's whole detected games thing (because new game added to the list), you get all those mods working and off you go playing cyber punk. then for what ever reason you feel like taking a brake and switch back to skryim, and that's when it hits you BAM, nexus just uninstalled all your skyrim mods for no reason what so ever.

But that's not all, it's often a fight with Vortex to keep mods working even when you don't to the above mentioned thing. many times now i've had to reinstall mods every day because vortex is somehow not finding it's own files.

Because of that i hit up google looking to see if there was something going on, or if there was a fix, of if there was something i should be doing, but i'm finding ZERO helpfulness anywhere on this topic.

SO folks HELP PLEASE.

you'd be better off posting this in the vortex support forums.

however, having used vortex since alpha for several games, never, not once, have i experienced this issue.

nor, based on evidence in the vortex forums has anyone else.

if i were you, i'd be sending over diagnostics to the vortex devs when this happens so they can take a look. have you done that?
