Mavrosh
At the moment I am working on a race mod. For creating my custom race I copied an existing vanilla one, gave it unique meshes and textures and saved it. It runs perfect in my game and also in the game of others who tested it for me... There is one single issue I would like to get solved though: In my work I included hair from the hair pack mod. I basically copied the meshes and textures from the original hair pack and created new folders for it inside my new races olders, pathed it like this in the GECK and also gave it unique IDs to make sure that there is no conflict with the original hair pack as I know that a lot of people use this. Unfortunately there is a little conflict though:When the hair pack.esm and my new esp are both checked at the same time, the hair will work on my custom race but not on the vanilla ones any more. When my race is unchecked, the hair pack hair appears on the vanilla races again. In the GECK I opened the Details setion of my esp before making it an active file and saw that my mod seems to use vanilla races as well. Ok, I though, simply delete them out of the details section, load my esp and the save. And here is my question: How the hell do I delete these? When I rightclick them, nothing happens. When I hit the delete-button it will just ignore the race files but this does not solve the hair confluct. I am convinced that these must be deleted but how do I do hat? Please answer here or send me a pm. Thank you! :thanks:
Pax1138
You did all that work, and you are left with the only problem that really matters: the editing of the vanilla races! There are some who claim the Delete/Ignore options work in the Details menu in the GECK, but I've never gotten it to do anything either. It may be a glitch certain people have, I guess. In any case, I think FO3Edit is your only option. Find that on the Nexus and DL it, and it should work for cleaning out the extra references in your file. -Pax

Mavrosh
I does not work. he tool is great but it tells me there is no conflicts. Damn, how I hate modding Fallout... hahaha... I sent the esp to someone who has more experience than I do and hope, she finds something. If not, I am gonna kick the custom hair and share it without as the rest works perfectly. :) The tool I am gonna keep though, this is really useable. :)
