Wandik Posted May 13, 2009 Share Posted May 13, 2009 hey guys, i'd like to "share" my portion of errors made by 1.5 (probably..) too :confused: Looks like this error is similar, but not the same like other mentioned here so far. I'm unable to load previous save, when the game is running. It means, after entering the game, all saves could be loaded, but no save can be loaded from ingame, no quicksave, autosave and even standard save. Any try will end by a freeze (sometimes i'm able to alt-tab, but most of the time, i have to reset my rig). The bad thing is, i can't remember, when this happens :( i've patched to 1.5 couple of days ago, and everything seemed to look fine. I was just entering outcast's outpost and anchorage, and all mods were working too. I found the problem after some time playing in the anchorage sim, when i realised the soldier companion got stuck somewhere, so i hit quickload. The game freezes permanently, even the loading window didn't appear. After restart, when i run the game again and load the quicksave, everything worked... But i was unable to load any save ingame since this time... Tried to disable all or some of the mods, same effect. And now the weird part: i tried to "downgrade" this morning, reinstalled FO3 with 1.4.0.6 after going through some forums reading about 1.5 incompatibility. I was very surprised, that the "can't load" issue is still there :o - i'm unable to load (ingame) any save made after patching to 1.5 (i'll have to do some investigation and try loading different saves, i can't remember the date/time of patching to 1.5). Sadly, i had to go to work, but i'll try to keep you informed, in case it will help someone :) And obvious question - did anyone experienced similar bug? And if so, is there any smart solution? Wandik Posted May 13, 2009 Author Share Posted May 13, 2009 Fast update: looks like it was some OA quest issue - i was unable to get "loading" to work (with or without mods), until disabling ALL mods including DLC The sad think is, i can't disable OA when i'm just there :( so i had to return to older save, before entering brotherhood outpost... now i'm trying to get my mods back to work one after another (and i hope there will be no mess again when entering OA) Current setup:1.0.0.15, latest fake patch, all DLC, unofficial patch, CALIBR, FOOK, darn ui (FOSE) - working Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

overload1977 Posted May 14, 2009 Share Posted May 14, 2009 ok alot of mod at the mo dont work with patch 1.5 or broken steel from you list these i know dont work... FOOKMart's Mutant Mod but the people who made then are working on them..... i would just turn your mods off one by one and see what works, i had to do tests for over 3 hours just on one mod......
