I don't understand why so many people are downing on O:A. It was linear and combat oriented, but was it not FUN as well?

I think it was a great change of pace from the rest of the game and the sections with your team of soldiers was really quite fun.

Honestly, the Pitt was a bit of a disappointment for me - it was remarkably short (other than the gay Ingots section) and too much running around the same area, but the plot was really quite good - kudos bethesda on a fantastic choice section - we want more like that.

I am midway through Broken Steel and aside from the nasty bugs I had to get through to make it work I am pleased with it thus far.

i liked all of them, but The Pitt got kinda boring in the end.

OA was fun while it lasted and the cool stuff i got were the best out of the 3 DLCs (Gauss rifle RULES!) and i also like the simulation, but it was too short.

The Pitt was fun at first, but the more i progressed in the story, it got as boring as HELL. there were so many bugs i faced, and the enemies were way too EASY (except Ashur, he's average) the only good thing i got from it was the great rad resist perks, and the raider iconoclast armor.

Broken steel was awesome.

O:A was good, though I didn't really care for the weapons packs. Would have done fine if they had let me keep the Trench Knife and Silenced Pistol for the three raids.

The Pitt I LOVED. Yes, that's right, I thought it was great. I hungered for an urban combat mod, and The Pitt delivered. Only bit I'm slightly upset about is the lack of Troggs in the Steelyard. I had expected whole packs of them, not a smattering here and there. Troggs coming out of the woodwork FTW.

Broken Steel was good, bugs aside. My main issue was the lack of firepower behind the Tesla Cannon and how God aweful tough those elite ghouls are. I mean seriously. Max explosive and three Plasma Grenades won't kill it. Suppose I better stock up on Nuka Cola bombs.

As for the upcoming mods, the swamp one looks promising. Don't know how I feel about the alien one though. I'm expecting space Deathclaws that make a referance to Aliens though.

I have to say that all of them. Operation Anchorage took a completely different aspect of the Fallout gameplay. It was kind of a switch up from the normal routine. The Pitt followed the Fallout 3 gameplay pattern, but the new world, unique weapons, choices, and enemies made it really fun. Broken Steel made me look forward to ending the game, extended gameplay, added cool enemies, chilled more with Liberty Prime, worked with the Brotherhood as a knight of steel more, new massive weapons, and mini quests.

I completely agree

unlootable enemies, scrounging for items and what not.

Solution:

1. Download Enclave Commander 0.8 (And all requirements)

2. Turn on "Take Prisoners"

3. Grab a squad.

Then loot your captured enemies, the execute them. I gained about 10 Chinese stealth suits this way.

The Pitt was quite difficult in the beginning when hunting for ingots in the steelyard with few weapons and armor. I found out just how useful pickpocketing was. But once I was able to get into the arena and get back my gear it became pretty standard. I spent time climbing the tops of the factory towers fighting the wildmen and the view of the Pitt was actually quite spectacular even if I didn't care about the ingots any more.
