GT7 to arrive early next year

Thats right the this is AWEESSSOMMEE news for racing fans alike, gt7 on the ps4. The graphics i can see being insane, without the limits of the ps3 i can see the game to be one of gt's most realistic game to date. Sense Polyphony Digital is all about pushing hardware to its limit.

Crosses fingers for realistic damage physics.

Sorry to burst your bubble Thor, but GT7 is just a port of GT6. Both games also share the exact same graphics and physics engines as GT5, so if you're expecting any sort of innovation or realism you'll be sorely disappointed. The engine that's going into the next two GT games really isn't very good: it's too primitive to properly simulate car handling, let alone damage so you're just not going to get proper damage physics here-the game can't even render inertia realistically. If you want a game that actually has proper, realistic physics you're going to have to go indy and get into Assetto Corsa or Project CARS. Both have vastly superior rendering and physics engines-GT6 and GT7 are just shameless rehashes of GT5.

And if there's any topic I can speak of with authority it's cars. I'm an amateur racer IRL afterall...

I see, well i guess we will only have to wait for project cars then, maybe even some new rival. To bad if your prediction correct and it is just port with more cars and stuff.

that would mean project cars may be a real competition.

Give Assetto Corsa a try, Thor-it sounds like exactly what you're after, an ultra-modern racing game with truly next-gen graphics-plus it's moddable. If you're curious, check it out on the Steam forums-it's got a wonderful and very active community.

I just finished playtesting the new version and it's just incredible. The physics in that make Gran Turismo feel like Mariokart, and the graphics are damn near photoreal now. And besides, it's only $30 on Steam. Oh, and you'll probably need a wheel-the force feedback in Assetto Corsa is the biggest part of the pleasure of it, the fact it feels real and the way the wheel feels like it's directly bolted to your car. No racing game is complete without FFB and Corsa's got the best FFB I've ever seen. Just remember to wear gloves-I damn near broke my thumb playing it this morning bare-handed.

I said i was interested, just give me until next Saturday, I'll make sure that's high priority. Its one of the first 6gb of ram recommendation pc game-next gen ridiculous pc specification game to date lol.

its in line what WatchDogs was going to be before they delayed it. I'm very interested :D

Here's is a interesting review

According to this review, project cars can't be beat when it comes to graphics, the game in itself they say will be so realistic you almost couldn't tell the difference.

They even have helicopters and stuff in the background to add that realism.

There's something else to remember, too: you can like/play multiple games in one genre. Just because you're playing Ac now doesn't mean you can't also play project CARS when it comes out-playing another game in the same genre isn't disloyalty.

Not the final build either.

I would race many different racing types, i though would like to stick to what is the most realistic when it comes to physics and graphics. Gt5 i spent almost as much time in that game then i did in skyrim alone. I just want to see the day when they finally brake the realism barrier.

Its difficult to choose sometimes.

My advice would be Assetto Corsa now, then CARS when CARS is available. And I agree, CARS could redefine an entire genre. But not as genre-changing as this!

Oh. Yeah. 15/10 game of the year.

Did it first... and better.

The objective of the game is to drive a bus from Tucson, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada in real time at a maximum speed of 45mph. The feat requires 8 hours of continuous play to complete, since the game cannot be paused.

The bus contains no passengers, and there is no scenery or other traffic on the road. The bus veers to the right slightly; as a result, it is impossible to tape down a button to go do something else and have the game end properly. If the bus veers off the road it will stall and be towed back to Tucson, also in real time. If the player makes it to Las Vegas, they will score exactly one point. The player then gets the option to make the return trip to Tucson—for another point (a decision they must make in a few seconds or the game ends). Players may continue to make trips and score points as long as their endurance holds out. Some players who have completed the trip have also noted that, although the scenery never changes, a bug splats on the windscreen about five hours through the first trip, and on the return trip the light does fade, with differences at dusk, and later a pitch black road where the player is guided only with headlights.
