Towniehh
Just asking if there's a mod that allows me to quickly change clothes, weapons and spells with a hotkey or something like that for SE
anjenthedog
You can assign a set of wearables in the quick menu. I use slots 5 and 6 for two preassigned outfits. In my case, F5 and F6 are already assigned to other things, so I use the quick menu, click the desired armor-set slot icon, then hit R to equip them all as a group. All my other Function keys are assigned (again by me, with the exception of reload and quicksave) but if I wasn't so lazy, I could probably rejigger and reorganize my hotkeys (properly. logically.. my key mapping is a mess) so it could be a hot-key armor swap. As to clothing management mods, fire off a query at nexus for "manager" and scroll down the list of responses. There's at least one item/clothing manager. I have one (Player Equipment Manager) but haven't used it yet. Afaik it utilizes hotkeys. Proteus might also be an avenue. Not 100% sure, but it's worth looking at. Towniehh
Is quick menu a mod or is it built into the game?and proteus seems more like an overhaul, seeing i can create more than one character per world, also thanks for showing me proteus, it looks a like a nice mod
Towniehh
oh you meant the favorites tab, that's pretty slow and i have to manually equip every single piece of armor and weapons
kryten397
SkyUI mod has 8 equip slots - you can add all pieces of thieves guild and what weapon/spell you want in L/R hand to one slot. for example. Then do the same for dark brotherhood using another slot etc. If using a gamepad then use gamepad plus plus or the more complicated IEquip, which i personally dont like cause its too slow for skyrims frenetic combat -but maybe you will like it. If using a keybord. then usually the slots are assigned to F1 - F8 key press
anjenthedog
oh you meant the favorites tab, that's pretty slow and i have to manually equip every single piece of armor and weaponsYes, I mean the favorites menu, but no, I mean that slot 5 has a few more than a dozen pieces of gear that my player equips "simultaneously" when I trigger it. The second one, in slot 6, has 8 pieces of different items, which are automatically equipped when I trigger it (swapping any pieces in shared slots). The only thing it doesn't do is automatically remove those items that are left behind (aren't replaced) when slot 6 is triggered, presuming slot 5 was already equipped. Had I put them in slot 1 or 2, I'd just swap armor-sets by clicking F1 and F2. (As I noted earlier, F5 and F6 are already assigned, so can't be used for it for me) So instead of clicking a hotkey alone, I click the hotkey to open the favorites menu, (what I call the quick menu) then choose the slot with my mouse, and then I click R to equip all the items as a group. (Maybe labeled "Use Group", idk, game's not open to confirm). Of course, all the items I'll be equipping have to be favorited in the first place and assembled into the slot(s0 you assign for armor/clothing sets. In any case, if that gets your panties in a twist, there are other options, as I noted in my earlier reply for you to choose between. Good luck.
