I saw this movie shortly after I returned from Active Duty Service overseas in Germany. My favorite quote was when the dog told the man, "You have the cranial capacity of a canary." Enjoy the movie. it is a good one.

its public domain by now btw

(if anyone knows else plz lemme know or delet that thread but afaik it is (25yrs and not really a movie whose copyright one would extend for monetary gain)

---------------------------------------------

story:

a boy and his dog (which can telecommunicate with the player) scavange the wastes always on the lookout for food (boys job) and gals (dogs job) to, well, eat the food and screw the gals (no the dog doesnt join in lol... sorry furry lovers :P)

all goes well until they meet that gal...

i wont say much more due to the nasty spoiler danger we all face everyday and must protect our children from...

but some sidefacts that might wet your mouth a bit:

the player aka don johnson aka mr. miami vice carries a 32. revolver and a hunting rifle... we have glowing ones called screamers which we never see xcept for their green glow, we have some kind of enclave, raiders, dogmeat, megaton like settlements and all that fine stuff one needs to feel all good and wasted

this is probably THE movie fallout came from (and all the other postapokalyptic stuff of our days including mad max) - its of course the remake of a book which therefore could be called the daddy of that stuff but that movie is prolly mommy then...

was made a few years before star wars and still doesnt look too B-Movie like... i actually enjoed it quite alot even tho i had to watch the ending scene twice to get the point... and i must say it was worth it... such a somehow strangely great ending one has to wonder why we usually never see such endings in todays movies...
