ghosu
Could be pretty much anything... In NifSkope rightclick on NiTriShape and Texture=>edit UV, a window with your UV layout pops up..check if it's okay or broken. If it is broken and you imported your weapon as .obj, not using .nif, you have to use an older NifSkope version...1.1.0.rc4 works for me in combination with .obj import and working UV map. Click on NiTriShapeData, in the block detail window below change HAS VERTEX COLORS to yes/no - just the opposite. (if in your BSLightingShaderProperties Shader Flags 2 line VERTEX_COLORS is checked you have to use yes, if not checked = no) Righclick on your NiTriShapeData and MESH-FACE NORMALS and MESH-SMOOTH NORMALS (using default settings in the pop up window) If nothing helps: Upload your .nif (if possible with textures and .esp in correct/working folder structure) so someone can check it for errors - always easier to handle. And btw, make sure that your BSShaderTextureSet uses the correct order:.dds_n.ddsxxcubemap.dds_m.dds ...and when you click on NiTriShapeData, in block detail window below, BS NUM UV SETS is set to 4097, if not - do so and menu SPELLS-BATCH-UPDATE
mouatachio
http://i.imgur.com/5wUexU1.pngHere's what the 'texture>edit uv' shows me, and my model is fairly detailed, but should it look like this at all?
ghosu
No, the UV map should look like in your 3D editor. This one is trashed, try an older NifSkope version as mentioned in my last posting and re-import the model.
