EonKid
I try to only use NMM but I do have some installed via Steam (which I hate doing) but I've checked the mods, checked the data files that are turned on. Don't have a mod organizer. Steam should download everything to the same place right? Checked the install location and it's fine. I really want to know HOW this mod got on my game and where it's hiding because I'm really bewildered right now And Rampage I haven't tried disabling everything although (assuming my game doesn't spaz out when I load) if the armor is still there what exactly would that even mean? wowtrancer
You really should attempt disabling everything. I'd strongly suggest the following... Uninstall ALL of your mods, NMM, Steam, and otherwise then completely clean out your data folder, then reinstall all of your mods one at a time. Make sure to make at least two saves before you do this. One you'll keep for when you figure out the issue, the other you'll use for testing so it's okay if that save gets messed up. So you'll probably notice some issues if you didn't follow the specific uninstall directions of every mod, yet, if you're lucky, it'll work well enough for you to stand in place and see which mod makes that armor come back as you re-activate them all one at a time. chevenga
Do you have Descent into Madness? It changes a bunch of stuff, including unexpected and undocumented armor switches. And the Silverlight armor is credited in the mod's description. It's been months since I tried the mod (and quickly removed it because of similar intrusions), but I seem to remember seeing that armor. Refer to the comments for other people's feedback on unexpected stuff like that.
EonKid
Holy s#*! I do have that one. Woooow thank you so much Chevenga and thanks Wow and Rampage as well you guys are all awesome. I still don't understand where the files are in the data folder but now that I know the mod I can uninstall.
TheHolyDarkness
Thank you very much. I've been trying to crack this mystery for some time now!I'll have to remember that about Descent into Madness. Its a shame it feels the need to outright REPLACE some armors rather than simply add new ones. Pity. ~TheHolyDarkness Out~
