dpcollier128
Is there any way I can use my Logitech controller to play Fallout 3 on my PC?
Maxunit
If really nothing works like maybe using XBCD or something, which I highly doubt already, then you should try out using ControlMK. It will emulate your Gamepad as being the mouse and keyboard. But I do not recommend it, since Fallout 3 requires many keys and the quick select for weapons is not useable if you use mouse and keyboard. Maybe another member here can help you with more information, but that's the only information I can give you so far.
Craigsters
I have the Xbox 360 conroller for windows the USB2 one and the logitech one, I use the Xbox 360 conroller because it's more comfortable to hold, and it takes drops on floors better then the logitech controller which I already replaced once because it didn't handle the abuse as well as the Xbox Controller!.. I bought this pinnacle game profiler a couple of years back and it makes lots of profiles for different game controllers and games that usually only work with mouse and key boards!.. Did I mention that the solution had to be free forever? No free trial bull crap. On ControlMK I can't find any viable instructions to work with and I can't figure out how to configure it at all. Any other solutions that can help? EDIT: OK, I found a guide here: http://www.redcl0ud.com/files/XBCD.pdf. It covers ControlMK too. EDIT EDIT: OK, I've tried using the controller... didn't go very well. I tried ControlMK and the keystrokes did not respond at all, but the mouse controls did work. All in all, ControlMK did not serve my purposes. I also found out that my Logitech controller has a proprietary profiler for games and it can input mouse commands and movements too. Keystrokes also worked on this profiler, but the precision of mouse input is not sufficient. All in all, I'd rather make do with my keyboard and mouse, but I will try a 360 controller to see how that works for me in a little bit.
Craigsters
There was a one time fee of either $34.99 or $39.99 US dollars for pinnacle game profiler , well worth it considering it can make controllers work with allot of games that only let you use your mouse and key board with it!.. Maxunit
Nice find, sb72. This will come in handy for those, who do not own a Xbox 360 Gamepad.

The sensitivity is just right, everything is mapped correctly, and the button icons in game change to the right stuff. Brilliant!

It works with pretty much any controller AFAIK, and it has a configurable .ini file where you can set up all the buttons, analog axis etc. I'm using it for all console ports that work with the 360 controller, and it hasn't failed me so far, I'd recommend it to anyone. It can also be used to make button macros, have more button sets assigned to the same gamepad at the same time (with a button switching between them) and a lot of other neat things.
