Germandeathkittiez
Today I finally decided to do some roaming around Tamriel and do something, after finally having enough mods and having them work well. I climbed all over the Jeralls, until I came upon Cloud Ruler Temple. I had already killed everyone in here before, except Captain Steffan and Martin, and now that none of the NPCs in my game are essential, I came back to finish the job. I killed Steffan, but when I killed Martin, I get a message that says "All hope is now lost." and it immediately takes you to the loading menu. I am proposing a mod, that instead of this, gets rid of the message and just keeps going from there. This would obviously be for evil/ Mythic Dawn role players. Say, if you killed Martin before the quest in which you join the Mythic Dawn, it would start evil questline #1. If you killed Martin while you are still in the Mythic Dawn, it starts evil Mythic Dawn questline (also I think you can't exit the lair until you reveal yourself in that quest, so that would be changed by unlocking the door). However, killing Martin is rather extreme. What I did in my game (using Aberwiin Manor mod) is take him hostage in a torture chamber. This could make an interesting option: you somehow learn some evil power (Mythic Dawn or otherwise) that lets you teleport people to torture chambers. When you've taken Martin hostage, you send the Elder Council a ransom note saying "We have your last heir. If you do not give in to (insert evil clan here) and pacify yourselves, he will die." After that, guards no longer chase you for bounties, when you are wearing your (evil clan leader armor), everyone will gasp in fear and do your bidding, and you can slap people around all you like. Maybe other evil cults could be 1. Vampires 2. Dark Brotherhood 3. anything evil anyone else can think of. If you are some sort of undead, and you kill/take Martin hostage, all the other vampires will look up to you, and respect you whether out of fear or appreciation. If you just kill Martin, you do not rule Cyrodiil, so those whose respect you've earned will now show up at random (like the Mythic Dawn, except more frequent) and assassinate indiscriminately. But when you take Martin hostage, your followers will just go around abusing and taunting people (will work great if using UVIII). Of course there will be a few retaliators among the citizens who will need to be killed. The guards in the cities could also kill everyone they see after a certain time at night. This sounds really complicated, but I'm not talking about any extensive questlines, just something to add to the consequences of killing Martin and alternate forseeable futures to the game in the simplest way. To add challenge, the blades at Cloud Ruler Temple could be toughened up a bit, and Martin could be hidden away. Please tell me what you think.
