cRunchTM76
I agree, I miss the OG oldgen 1.32 version of the FOV mod (broken for next gen patch 4.04 and will not be updated). https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/807 === I'm really hit with the NG nextgen up too close camera, oh... the freakin' motion-sickness-wobbles I feel starting, when I'm searching inside homes, etc. I think I'll try this mod just for the FOV camera range options (maybe the other non-camera options can be turned off)? https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/8357 Play update: That mod made it worse, so no simple FOV mods for NG 4.04 yet. Update 8-15-23: There's a new "updated" FOV mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/8470 I'm going to try that one, maybe the FOV mod Gods have granted options for NG 4.04! === It works, yay! :D A quick tip on installing it, although these instruction were included in the mod's zip (although people won't see it just using a mod manager to install the mod). TIP: For users just trying to just install this mod with a Mod Manager, do it AFTER adding the items below, then install the mod, and then do a Script Merger before playing. The mod is working for myself, I knew ahead of time from past installs of mods with added .xml and setting entries, to do what I've stated (learned from mod install failure). === Here's what I did to have the mod work as advertised. === Make sure to add this into your user.settings file found here: C:\Users\*your_username*\Documents\The Witcher 3\ [modFOVTweak]modFOVTweakExplorationFOV=70modFOVTweakSailingFOV=80modFOVTweakHorseFOV=70modFOVTweakSprintingFOV=80 Also: Make sure to add modFOVTweakConfig.xml; into both the dx11filelist and dx12filelist files found here: *path_to_your_game_install_directory*\The Witcher 3\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\ Add this somewhere towards the top, for example under the hdr.xml; statement. This would look like this: hdr.xml;modFOVTweakConfig.xml; SAVE BOTH MODIFIED FILES AFTER EDITING
cRunchTM76
CaptainCrunch said in another mod post somewhere on Nexus: "Well, this isn't a mod, just a quick tweak to disable that horrible effect while using witcher senses. The FOV and the effect when using witcher senses/focus always made me very motion sick, so I took a look at the ini files and found a way to turn off this horrible effect". Just go to bin\config\base\gameplay.ini. Open the ini and look for this lines: MotionSicknessFocusMode=false now set it to MotionSicknessFocusMode=true There you go, that blurry effect on the edges of you screen is gone, no more motion sickness and now you can even use witcher senses as a tool for better exploring your surroundings since it still does zoom in. If you liked this little tweak, download the attached Readme file and endorse. Cheers, mateys  CaptainCrunch I say: Thanks CaptainCrunch, and anything to remove any other Motion Sickness "starters" away, is a good thing.
