Importing hairs to other races via Wrye Bash

I'm pretty new to all of this, never really used Wrye Bash before.

I was told in order to import hairs from one mod i.e. Rens to be usable on Khajiits I would need to use Bash.

I'm using Ahtata Khajiit Replacer HGEC so I don't really have to worry about clipping or the floating hair problem.

If anyone can point me in the direction of a tutorial on how to enable custom hairs for the Khajiit or if they could run me through it I would appreciate it.

This thread may be helpful. It's discussing eyes, but you can use the same procedure for hairs. The hairs menu is found under the same option as the eyes... oh and this is using the CS, not Wrye Bash.

Thanks a bunch for the link.

I followed your directions in the other thread for hair styles, and saved it as a plugin, but now I seem to be having the same problem the other person was having with them still not showing up.

He said he got his to work, but never said how. :(

If you're putting hairs from one mod onto a race from another mod, instead of simply dragging the hairs over, you should duplicate them first and drag over the duplicates. The original entries are part of the other mod and when you duplicate it makes new hair entries for your new race mod.

To duplicate a hair entry on the left, just right click it and there should be an option to do so.
