steve750
Not played with geck for 10 years. just been playen with sanctuary taking out a few bushes ect an ive noticed the navmesh is pink when under scrapable items, and theres a small unnavmeshed section where theres some scrapable picket fence that id like to fix. if i navmesh it normaly npcs will walk into it, if i dont mesh under it and later scrap the fence npcs will still walk round it, so id realy like to know how to link them or however its done so the area becomes walkable after scraping the item. some help would be appreciated. greekrage
its simple but b@ll breaking  When navmeshing around stuff that can be scapped you have to outline the object that will be removed (basically navmesh around its collision )...after youre done save and exit navmesh...Now you simply select (click the object/s ) and re-open the navmesg editor and go to navmesh tab and click on " create precuts for selection"...Once its done you should see the pink outline ....Again save and exit.Note if objects you select are in different cells (example selected 2 objects but they are separated by a cell border ) you have to do each one separately for each cell because this only generates on a per cell basis . This is basically the only thing i hate about navmeshing after ive loaded the location with scrappables/movables. (well that and spiral stairs  ) Edited December 22, 2022 by greekrage
