tamwynthegreat Posted December 20, 2022 Share Posted December 20, 2022 (edited) I installed the DAI mod manager earlier today and I placed it under its own file among the game files after extracting the .zip file. I'm able to locate and select the dragonage.exe file no problem. But when going to select the mod file it doesn't allow me to select anything besides desktop. If I create a new folder it'll just show up on my desktop. Has anyone encountered this before? Does anyone know a possible solution? I've already tried adjusting the permissions for the game files, tried moving the mod manager files so it's in my documents, I verified that I downloaded the 64 bit version, I'm already running the mod manager as an administrator, I'm not able to type or paste the file path into the mod path line, and I've also moved the mod files into different folders inside the game files folder, nothing has helped. In case anyone else encounters this problem here's how I fixed it: opening the daimodmanager.ini file (which is in the same folder as the mod manager) opening it with notepad, and then pasting the mod path you want in there next to where it says mod path.
