Jarabi
Hello. Does anyone successfully use Animated Morrowind (AM) with Beautiful Cities of Morrowind (BCoM) with the OpenMW engine? I have the latest versions of BCoM and Version 0.48 (MacOS RC4) of OpenMW. I am using the AM patch for OpenMW in BCoM with the appropriate assets and whilst most of the figures are ok some are screwed up. The Jean Moniel scribe in the census office is floating well above his chair and initially has empty static hands. If I disable the character in the console once he reappears when I spin round but this time with the quill in his hand and the full animation going on. Although I manually install mods I have looked at the mlox file and believe my load order is correct for the relevant BCoM and AM elements. I have tried all three versions of the OpenMW bounding boxes with no change in behaviour. I would like to figure out how to make this work properly so it would be good to know if there is someone out there who has made this work with this combination and any tips on load order or OpenMW settings that I might have missed would be very welcome. I have looked on the BCoM posts but can't see anyone else with this issue. Cheers
ZWolol
This problem can be seen in OpenMW. There is a different processing of collisions. The animations are made without regard to OpenMW. A script is used to disable animated NPC collisions, but I don't work with OpenMW.
Jarabi
Thanks. I'm aware of the engine differences but there are versions of AM which work reasonably well with OpenMW. In older versions of OpenMW than I am currently using I got him to sit in his chair and the animation was ok. Maybe there has been some sort of regression in the current version. No big deal. Most of the other AM characters are fine so I can live with it.
