Weapon melee attacks

Would it be possible to hit enemies at close range with your active gun out without switching to unarmed or a melee weapon?

 

I would love any kind of close combat melee with current weapon selected, e.g.

a quick knife stab COD style,

Hit with weapon butt classic style,

melee attacks and kicks f.e.a.r. style.

 

 

Would love to have some weapon melee in my game. :D

That would be hard to make that with ALL the weapons, I may be wrong. But good luck :thumbsup:

I've been playing a lot of MGS3 and the idea of having CQC with one handed weapons would be nice :P

 

But the weapon bash would probably the most easy way to implement it i guess. Still awesome nevertheless :'D

(We had shield bash with OBSE, so why not with FOSE? With the upcoming versions, because I think that with the current version it is not possible)

There are very few animators around these parts, just need one to make the animation (for easiness' sake, a left jab. Should look good with all guns with no horrid clipping). If someone does the animation, the rest is easy.
