kitsuneshoujo
As I play girl characters I would like to be able to see her face/hair. Even if it is from behind. So I need a mod that makes helmets invisible... or some sort of toggle that allows me to hide/show it when I want. Thanks.
cmal
One way you could do this is by not selecting a Biped Object, which governs what part of the body the armor covers, in the Armor dialogue. Of course, every time you load your esp in the GECK, it'll give you a warning, but you can always just ignore it.

And... you completely missed the point. I still want the armour from the helmet, protection, I just dont want to always see the helmet.

Try taking this mod for a spin: Invisible Armored VestsWith that, you can wear a cute dress and still maintain a good armor rating, all while looking pretty. The vests takes up a 3rd armor slot, so it won't affect your clothes.
TGBlank
I was planning to make a hat cloner once fose 2.0 is out. Need a function to clone enchantments from one object to another (i can clone AR already tho).

The problem with your concept is that a helmet doesn't cover your character's head like in the real world, it replaces it. So an invisible helmet would just show your character's shiny bald pate, not your emo hairdo. You could add additional invisible armor that uses a different slot, as the other fellow suggested. It would increase your total AR, but it won't lessen damage specific to your char's head. Maybe someone could create a series of interchangeable helmet / hairdos that you could swap out like wigs. It won't be me though. I'm far too butch for that.

cmal
Which is why I suggested removing the biped slot from helmets. You'll equip it, but it won't take up your head slot. Therefore, no head mesh replacement.
