StumpyTheClown
I know this is probably an overposted question, but can someone please help me with mods? I tried to download a mod by myself for the first time yesterday and it worked ok. I put the downloaded winRAR file into fallout 3 mod managers "Package manager" and activated it... when I started the game it went well... I went to the store where the mod was located (Barskogs goodies mod) and all the clothes where all flashy and switched color apperance every time i turned the camera view. Did I not put in the texture mod right? or what? also some mods said error, where the pitcure of the mod was supposed to be (in the pip boy, through the apperance thing) So can anyone help me? Give me an tutorial of how to do it right? anything could help really. THX! : D
ZeonicGlory
You'll need to use ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated. Link: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944 It allows you to use custom textures.
StumpyTheClown
Thank you, it really helped! :) but there are still some that does that flashy thing... The mod is divided in four files. 1. main file 2. V1 (new stuff) 3. V2 (new stuff) 4. V3 (new stuff) only the main file could be read through that file i downloaded (link on the post above) anyone know what could be the issue? I don't think it is the mod cause no one has posted that kind of fault in the comments section :S
Wandik
you can find guide "how to install mods" HERE, and HERE.guide how to arrange mods is HERE. maybe it's not exactly what you seek, but you will find usefull clues and some basic rules how to load mods... and please, post similar issues into FO3 technical support forum, not into discussion :)
