ENBs - choosing... suggestions, please!

I have Skyrim AE on PC, and recently been using Pi-Cho, also used Silent Horizons and FN.

I like the light of Pi Cho and FN, but am looking for an ENB that offers:

  • Real time snow cover (ground & folks)
  • Good wet surfaces in rainy weather
  • Good skin specular
  • Works indoors with Lux
  • Leans towards realistic daylight and lightscapes, not fantasy
  • Supports complex terrain parallax

If users have a couple of suggestions, I'd be really grateful, thanks. I'm not too worried about weather system but Vivid is usually way too OTT for me.

I personally returned to TNT ENB and Obsidian Weathers. Haven't had the time to make it work properly with LUX though or decide on replacement of LUX. The setup misses some stuff from the above.

Best i found was NAT Weathers with its default ENB.

It has a Prepass shader for Snow covering even PC/NPC gear which is excellent but has to be turned off near Water because the shader makes water look almost Transparent.

With Water for ENB you can still distinguish it's Water especially from the appropriate angles as Reflections and Light affect it but the Water Texture turns transparent still.

I haven't found an alternative for that in Skyrim.

The Water is good with NAT overall but requires the appropriate Water for ENB fomod options.

One downside of NAT is the reflections caused on Hair with its Subsurface Scattering Shader. Looking from certain angles Fur might look overall Wet and Plastic. Doesn't always happen though.

An alternative would be Solas Weathers with EVC ENB. Its has a different design philosophy though so it may or may not be appealing.
