To add metal look you need an enviroment map, basicly an enviroment map is just a texture that is transfered onto your model when light is reflected and as your model turns the part of the texture that is reflecting moves.

Fallout3 lets you add an enviroment map, the radsuit plate has one.

3d programs normaly use a cube or even sphere and they render the picture onto the sphere then use the sphere to render the enviroment map reflection, you can do real reflection mapping but the results are normaly the same but take 5000000 times longer to render.

I think that you are doing a great job. It looks quite unique for FO3.

You also have a nicely minimalist sense of decoration. I probably would have put an advert for Vaultec Condoms or something on a missile. No sense of dignity at all.

Got it in-game and it looks pretty good. The normal map is too strong. I hate how things look in game compared to the max render. Finished the cell with the exception of clutter. Knocked out lighting, sounds, and common objects.

I will be releasing my models and assets for people to use as they see fit. So if anyone is interested in the stuff... I'll post a link later.
