Profile avatar doesn't update for me on Nexus pages

I've changed my avatar image and the new one shows up on the forums, however on the Nexus pages (including the My Nexus Preferences page) the old one still shows ~12 hours later, even after emptying the web cache and force reloading, in multiple browsers.

 

I changed the image once before, I think around 2 days before this, and the change was correctly visible after a short while.

 

Has anyone else seen this issue? It's not a deal breaker of course, but thought I'd mention it.

Here are some solutions that have successfully solved this issue in the past:

• Right click your avatar, open the image in a new tab, then press CTRL + F5 on that new tab.
• Log out and then log back in.
• Wait for a longer duration of time to allow for the image cache to fully update.

Tried the first two, I guess it just needs more time then.

 

Update 11/01: did the avatar hard-reload yesterday, and the image finally did update. I changed it once more though, so in for a few days of waiting again. :[ xD

I'm glad it has updated for you! Perhaps the data migration affected the caches.
