DJBlueeyez
I'm getting a weird texture showing up on hands and arms it looks like scars or maybe wrinkles, but they shouldn't be there.. I'm not using any texture replacement mods, I Have Bodyslide and CBBE installed but I haven't heavily modded the character models they're mostly just there as dependencies. I do have some stuff like looks menu and some character customization things like hair options, tattoos/paint etc... but no replacers and no conflicts I'm aware of. Most of the mods I'm using add weapons, armor and clothing, or Immersion things like better NPCS Sim Settlement Etc... I'm playing the G.O.T.Y edition with the HD texture DLC enabled so maybe that is the issue? but everything else looks fine except one spot on the hands and the outside of the forearms. Any idea what may be causing this.
StormWolf01
Dj - well my first thought, was that you might be playing a race mod that allows you to play ghouls, and that was messing things up.But you didn't mention anything like that. I'd think about redownloading CBBE and then manually putting the texture files into the data folder. That's about the only way that I've gotten it to work whenever I've tried something out and it ended up causing problems for the CBBE textures. Also... since you brought it up... the HD Texture pack DLC is a bad idea.Like all the other textures that Beth put into this game, those textures are horribly optimized for PC gaming. There are others that are much better here on the nexus. And while it's not really HD, I like these, myself. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1204
DJBlueeyez
Thanks for the input, I've just done a clean install (Without HD textures enabled) It was sort of a last resort I had tried load order and file cleaning fixes amongst other things. I'm going to start from scratch and load it one mod at a time and see how it goes That way if something breaks it, I can hopefully identify it easier. I'll also try manually adding the textures if I have any issues with Nexus. I feel like FO4 is much harder to mod than other games I've tried. I usually do manual installs I don't have a ton of faith in nexus but everywhere I look says nexus is the best option for FO4, so I've followed that advice, but it's been a bit hit or miss.
