hi, sorry for my bad English,

as the title said, I like to send an NPC to a specific place using the console window,

for example, sent dogmeat to Jared's location at Corvega Assembly Plant,

Note: I do not talk about teleport "MOVETO",

I like it travel like you sent any follower to the settlement,

thank you for reading,

have a nice day

If you want to send an existing settler to another location:

  1. Go into build mode, select the NPC in question, at the bottom it says move (and whatever key you have assigned to that). When you select this option you will get the "where do you want to send them" option box.
  2. Make a choice and they will go... eventually, (Bethesda and all your other mods permitting of course).

For a mod, it would only have to access that functionality without build mode (but with the same test (conditions) I assume into a dialogue option (would be slick).

EDITORIAL: The trick with settlers I have found is to make sure they are assigned to a settlement before requesting any work from them. Because the game will not tell you if they are not attached when you give them a job. This could also be remedied through a mod (additional conditions loop added onto base script) I'm sure. I figure the lack of compliant behaviors generally plaguing people is the result of mods, because the game doesn't actually provide "loose settlers" that do not serve any immediate purpose. (i.e. they are already resident settlers by the time they ask if you need help). But there are many ways to "adopt" fringe settlers outside of vanilla.

Does any of this address your issue correctly?

I think he means how do you teleport an NPC to an area with the console without having to first teleport the SS there first, and THEN "moveto.player.

I too would like an answer to that question. I've been having random named NPCs spawn at Sanctuary (so far anyway) from all over the CW: i.e Abernathys', ghouls from The Slog, Goodneighbor, Covenant, etc.

VERY annoying, not the least of which because some are merchants, some quest givers, and so on.

So far I've just been teleporting the SS to the NPC's original location, and then pulling them to me from there as mentioned above.

If there isn't a console command to just send them there outight, so be it. "Better Settlers" mod is the closest culprit I can come up, unless it's somehow "UF04 patch".

i not looking to move settler nor teleport a NPC,

i just want to sent a NPC like dogmeat to kill another NPC like Jared at Corvega Assembly Plant,

you know, like command folower to attack certain NPC or take Certain Item, but skip the "follow me" part

Oh, no there is no way to just send Dogmeat out into the Commonwealth as an assassin.
