FerrumAnguis
Hi there, just checked the Custom Combat Armor mod again after a long time and noticed, that ParasiteX gave permission to other modders to use/work with this mod (of course, credit should be given to Endormoon and ParasiteX).All this said.... I just have started to "try" to get AWKCR and AE out of all my weapons, armors and clothes..... and I'm not sure yet, if it works....but Custom Combat Armor is a bit big for my abilities PLUS.... it could use an update, so .... is there anyone willing and able to do it? Garof
I was about to create the same request myself. I'd do it myself, but I don't have the technical expertise. Perhaps the Equipment and Crafting Overhaul framework could be with it? FerrumAnguis
Makes us two  I don't have the knowledge and abilities to do it  There are a lot of great mods out there, who are abandoned and could shine with an update (like include them into ECO) and get rid of outdated stuff like AWKCR or AE. StormWolf01
In my limited experience with ECO, it doesn't really require anything to work with gear. Vanilla or mod added. Then again, I've only used it a few times, and I haven't played in months. So there's that. I do agree. Even the mods that aren't really that old could definitely do with removal of the requirements of some of those systems. Unfortunately, in many cases, if the mod is abandoned, there isn't a lot of hope in getting in touch with the author for those permissions. FerrumAnguis
True. This might prove to be one of the major problems. Still would be great, if someone would try. I gladly would contact all those nice folks, but it's pointless, if there's no one willing and able to update the mods. That said. Folks like Infamous95, who produced a lot of No AWKCR patches, are my only hope, that someone might be out there, who can do it. Edited January 10, 2023 by FerrumAnguis
Garof
Fortunately the Custom Combat Armor author opened modding permission up to the public not long ago, so long as they get acreddited to it. All we can do now is just hope that a modder picks up the project.
Blinxys
There is a set of scripts by Pra (AWKCRifier) that can be added to FO4edit which "adds" AWKCR tags to items. Reasonable to assume this can be reversed fairly easily by someone who knows their way through pascal. Think they also updated their scripts for zEdit (javascript). :ninja: As a last resort or first point of reference, ask if it would be too much trouble for them to make it for you. (Destruction is always easier than creation). Be mindful, you can mod the hell out of whatever you want for personal purposes. But if you post it, you don't just need permissions from the original author(s); you also need to support the new mod. :ermm:
