Taterthomp
OK. I can install any mod i want through manual, I'm told. Well, apparently, i cant install some mods. Why? Because some mods have um.. Setup stuff at the beginning of the mod install. Like the detailed skyrim map, has that pre-install setup options for choosing clouds or roads, etc. Apparently, any mod which requires this sort of setup CANT be installed manually I'm guessing because it has to access the site.. Or something. Which doesn't really make that much sense to me... But.. Hey i'm retarded so bear with me... ANYWHO... i really really wish i could install the mods manually but some just cause my nexus to crash right after i hit "yes to all" on that time-old question... :( any advice on why it may be my fault or my computers fault (aside from me being severely retarded) ? im open to feedback :D
JimboUK
You should be able to manually install anything, some set ups aren't that straight forward though. If the author hasn't provided manual instructions it would be worth asking, that said NMM is up and running again now.

Taterthomp
think i may just actually give up... between nexus having issues and UBISOFT screwing me out of 60$, this whole gaming pc investment is curling my hairs a bit too much lately... JimboUK
Everyone here started off knowing nothing, over time you learn. It's worth making the effort because modding is so much better when you how they work, it takes most of the hassle away. It's nowhere near as difficult as it appears. Thandal
Considering the huge number of players modding Skyrim successfully, and the huge number of players able to use NMM successfully, I'd say you should look at your specific configuration in more detail.
