how about a lance

But how would you expect it to work in-game?

You have the following types of weapon that it could be:

* One-Handed Sword / Dagger

* Two-Handed Claymore

* Shield

I could create the model but because my PC at home is dead, I would not be able to texture it or create a plugin to test it in-game. I also do not think it would work the way you think it should. As a shield, it would just be eyecandy while riding on a horse. The hand animation would not lend itself well for the correct position either so it would look strange if you examined it up-close.

I spent about 20 minutes during lunch and got this far with it (in Blender).

- Model in 3 parts (Lance, Handle, Pommel)

- UV Map

- Collision

- Template Placeholder texture

- Export to NIF

Source files (Blender model, Paint.NET multi-layered image, readme, example NIF, example DDS)

Description

===========

Simple lance weapon.

Model will need to be properly sized and aligned to a similar weapon (or shield).

Texture will also need a normal map created (e.g. LHammondsLance_n.dds).

The texture is 512 x 512 (can be changed to 128x512 to conserve wasted space).

Tools Used

If nobody picks this up to create textures and a plugin, I will consider doing it once I have a functional PC again.

Be sure to read post #2 and determine how you expect this lance to work in Oblivion.
