LordSnot
I'm aware that there are various storage chests and 'cloud storage' options available for the SE edition, but there is absolutely nothing like the original Blacksmith's Storage Chests mod for the vanilla edition. Blacksmith Storage Chests - Automatic Storage for Smithing Supplies at Skyrim Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) This mod was an absolute staple for me, but it has never been ported over to the SE edition, and my attempts to contact the original author have failed. So if anyone out there is able to create something similar, or somehow port it over to the SE Edition in such a manner as to properly credit the original author I'd be grateful. This seems to be a straight forward mod. I wonder if you just opened it up in the Creation kit for SE and saved it if it would work? Of course if it does you don't want to go posting it without the mod author's permission. Additionally, if you are feeling industrious you could just make one yourself using this tutorial. LordSnot
I'm afraid that's all completely beyond me. I know nothing about the creation kit or mod-making and have no knowledge at all of coding. As it happens I did watch a tutorial a while back explaining how to port mods over to the SE Edition using the Creation Kit, but I just couldn't make head nor tail of it and nothing I did worked. You shouldn't need to do any coding. If you follow that step by step you can do it! To put it in perspective, my mod is rather large, has a lot going on and I know absolutely nothing about coding and had minimal modding experience.. I basically followed (with patience) some great tutorials, and was able to do what i needed to do and learn a little bit in the process. What you'll see in that tutorial is very in reach. You just have to follow it. Edited January 27, 2023 by Sovrath
