CrazyGilbert
How do you overwrite saves? like when I was working on a mod i wanted to save my stuff so i did but whent to save over it that wouldnt let because it was in use so if you make a new one does that mean you need both saves to be on when playing the game... I know, this is a stupid question but i dont know it so if you could tell me ASAP I would grateful, somebody please save this poor stranded clod! Abramul
If I understand you correctly, your problem is that you aren't setting your mod as the active file (in the Data Files dialogue)
Kevin Woodman
Slightly unrelated to your problem but, because the construction set doesn't have a SAVE AS feature unless you are saving a new plugin, which is when you don't set set any to active, it will overwrite the old version, so always make a backup in another folder before editing it, just incase you you acidentally alter something you don't want to, the tescs does strange things every now and then, at least to me it does. It's been a lot nicer to me lately though.

CrazyGilbert
I also have a question about a warning that comes up when i install a new mod it says something like this: the file 'rascals Island" is dependant on or has changed since the last save, Continue running executable? whats that about? Peregrine
It means nothing and can be safely ignored. All it means is that the plugin was created with a different patch version of Morrowind, Bloodmoon, or Tribunal. I believe you can open and re-save the plugin if you want to get rid of this message.
