For Large terrains like islands and worlds, you use the Heighmap editor..You probably don't so press the 'H' key (when inside the render/world window) or go to the top your screen to World->Landscape editor.Now you'll see a red circle in you render window.. Hold Your left mouse button and drag you mouse up..to move the land up.Down, to move the land down... When you got the right hight. Change the 'edit radius' to bit lower one, (I went from 10 to 5)Than check the Flatten Verticals. When you do that any land will adapt to the land you start from.So click on the land that has your preferred hight. and drag around...If you click from lower parts or water, it will lower all land or turn it all into water.If you do a higher part, it will increase all in height.
